Composer

Xu Tang is a composer, pianist, and sound designer with over a decade of international experience across film, video games, and orchestral music. He has served as Lead of Music Production and Senior Sound Designer at game studios including TUYOO Games, BOKE, and Kepler Space Industries Limited. Since 2016, he has also provided outsourced audio production services for a wide range of game developers in China and abroad, including Tencent, Supercell, Sohu, Perfect World, and Happy Elements.

He has collaborated extensively with leading symphony and chamber ensembles in both live performance and studio recording settings, including the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra (NZSO), Auckland Chamber Orchestra (ACO), NZTrio, New Zealand Chamber Soloists, Hillcrest Symphony Orchestra, Westlake Symphony Orchestra, the University of Michigan Cello Ensemble, and the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra.

His original film scores have been featured in works screened at international festivals, including the Wellington Animation Film Festival, SIGGRAPH 2025 Computer Animation Festival, and New York Imagine This Women's Film Festival.
