Vocalist/Lyricist, Project Manager

Renko is a Chinese-American, California-based vocalist and lyricist. Formerly based in Tokyo for 10 years, she brings her experience to Jade Chamber Sound along with her work as not only a vocalist and lyricist, but also as a project manager, while lending her ear to some directional work.

Growing up with and inspired by early 90s anime songs, video game music, and Utada Hikaru, she has provided her expressive vocals and lyrics-writing since 2011 to a number of genres of music, from pop, EDM, to Showa jazz, Eurobeat, and orchestral ballads, initially within Japan's Touhou Project doujin music circles, such as ORANGE★JAM, FELT, and IOSYS. She then began branching out to original music, often with Japanese and Korean composers and circles, such as lapix, Zekk, ARM, and MEGAREX.

She has been featured in songs on Happy Ray Games' "Ikenfell"; Konami's "beatmania", "DANCE aROUND", and "DANCERUSH STARDOM"; WayForward x Atari's "Yars Rising"; and provided lyrics and vocal direction for the official English version of COOL&CREATE's "Help Me, ERINNNNNN!!"

She hopes to some day bring more composers, artists, and game developers together from both the East and the West, and to provide her vocals and lyrics for animation and more video game soundtracks in the future.

On the side, she also streams as a Vtuber and dedicates her time to traditional longbow and horsebow archery, and has one corgi named AJ.
